On a magical evening in mid September Cafe Mambo hosted the incredible "Mambo in the Mix" party raising over €30,000 for The Red Cross!

Fancy spinning on the legendary Mambo decks or Armin van Buuren concocting a Mojito for you or maybe a fresh hot dog from Seth Troxler? If you're still thirsty let Roger Sanchez, Coxy or Judje Jules pull you a beer and then maybe receive some treatment from the Nervo Nurses....?

The international committee of the Red Cross was recently awarded the Principe de Asturias 2012 prize in recognition of its work with children, women, the elderly, the unemployed and the homeless in situations of extreme poverty. The ‘Now + Ever’ project directly helps the people of Ibiza and Formentera, which is the cause that Café Mambo has chosen to raise funds for.

DJsounds caught up with Roger, Armin, Jules, Guti, and the hosts - The Anadon brothers, Christian & Alan to find out why the event is so important.

Join us at the glamorous and exclusive Stealth Party held at La Plage in Playa d'en Bossa. The beach parties that have sprung up over the last couple of years have proved that you don't have to go to a club to hear the biggest DJs. With Sasha and Luciano spinning at Ushuaia, Carl Cox at Sands and numerous superstars at Mambo every night of the week, where else in the world can you hear your favorite jock outside of a club?!
We hooked up with Roger Sanchez himself at the Monday evening bash, which is held monthly over the summer, where he told us about why he chose the venue; the Stealth label and what it means to him; and the team and artists involved. Roger also reminisced over the last 15 years of playing on the island as well as the difference between playing a busy club as opposed to an exclusive beach party.
We also caught up with Prok & Fitch, who described their sound and chatted about being on the Stealth label.
Finally, we spoke to another Stealth artist, Martijn Ten Velden, who waxed lyrical about the label; the importance of the intimate party to showcase it; and what the Stealth sound is. He also told us how much he is loving the CDJ-2000s and what a revelation rekordbox is. The final Stealth Party of the summer will be held this Monday at La Plage...

The last time we saw Roger, he gave us a rundown of his favourite features on the new CDJ-2000s. We now catch up with him in London for his first Release Yourself party for 2010, now in its 10th anniversary year.

Roger is famous for his seven hour sets where he plays the whole night, taking care of the warm-up when he plays to an empty room, to the peak time hours and then the shady after hours, taking us into the middle of the morning.

Roger tells us his plans for the summer for Release Yourself weekly at Amnesia on the terrace on Tuesdays, with Armin van Buuren in the main room, and what surprises he has in store.

The last track in the clip is Roger's new single "2Gether", and is out now on Stealth.

On 17 September Pioneer Portugal teamed up with Pioneer Spain to launch the CDJ 2000 at a number of special events on Ibiza, including a press conference at the Gran Hotel in Ibiza Town followed by a full technical hands on demonstration by Ibiza resident, Dan Tait, at Cafe Mambo, culminating in a grand finale launch party where the CDJ 2000s were on display at the fabulous new Pioneer lab on the roof terrace of Pacha.
