Interestingly, although the guys have released projects on such labels as Eskimo, Blue Note, !K7, Fabric and their own Diskimo, they chose to distribute their debut album – The Glimmers Are Gee Gee Fazzi – through different channels: namely via the Glimmers’ own club gigs and free with DJ magazine. The album features collaborations with a range of artists, including Princess Superstar, Anu Pillai from Freeform Five, Lindstrom & Prins Thomas and CJ Bolland, and, as David says in this clip, so far over 30,000 copies have been ‘released’ direct to club goers.
