Kutski presents the CDJ-900 - Part 1 - rekordbox

Sun 28.02.2010

The dawn of the CDJ-900 species was September last year at the same time as its bigger brother, the CDJ-2000. They share many core features, such as integrated functionality with our rekordbox software, use of USB storage devices and ease of browsing amongst other aspects.

It also has a number of awesome features up its sleeve which are unique to the CDJ-900. This is where our super hot, rave wizzkid, Kutski will talk us through them in this exclusive set of videos.

Kutski has risen to fame with his show on BBC Radio One (1am to 3am on Friday night/Saturday morning), as well as with a full diary of gigs ranging from most of the major festivals to residencies at Goodgreef, Inside Out & Big events, and dates in Ibiza throughout the summer.

He has also found time to release on Detox Records and launch his own label, Free Range Muzik. Kutski's technical wizadry and ability to mix any tracks together see him set to be a superstar as a hard dance and hardcore DJ.

For this series of exciting and informative clips, we shot Kutski in Area 51 (on the site of the legendary Hacienda club) in Manchester, UK. In this first clip, Kutski runs over the rekordbox concept, interface and functionality for storing loops and cues in advance of DJ sets.
