Hailing from the notoriorious Cape Flats in Cape Town, South Africa, Mark Stevens aka Niskerone (pronounced Nisker-One) dropped some heavy D&B on Amnesia this summer for his Ibiza debut.

DJsounds found about his unique, South African flavoured entrance into Electronic Music where he spearheaded Bass music across Cape Town and how the CDJ-2000 allows him to move that much quicker - all important when the beats are moving so fast. Rekordbox allows him to save his back as well as his cue points.

It is only at the openings and closings that the Ibiza clubs are allowed to close their doors when they want, usiually the next afternoon and Amnesia Closing 2012 is no different.

Bathed in the glorious med sun, we get stuck in on the terrace with ViVa warrior Steve Lawler and long serving Amnesia veteran Mar-T.

Mar-T tells us the thinking behind the line-up of the closing and about the record breaking summer they have just had. Steve meanwhile outlines his history with the club and why change is good.

And yes, that is Arman van Helden's remix of CJ Bolland's "Sugar is Sweeter" from 1997 near the start!

Chuckie gushed about his debut at the club and believing in new talent with Gregori Klosman from the Dirty Ducth family.

Klosman told us about the privilege of playing Amnesia Closing while Tenaglia, spoke of the unique magnetism of Ibiza, his third home and playing on that terrace as night turned into day.

We haven't forgotton Amnesia in our closing clips! Amnesia had an incredible summer with adventurous innovative line-ups that included Annie Mac & Eric Prydz going head to head at "Tonight" on Tuesdays and of course the genre-busting I Want My MTV on Fridays.

Where to begin with Layo & Bushwacka! (yes the exclaimation mark is intentional). Legendary residents & part owners of London's now defunct club, The End, writers of Ibiza smash and UK chart topper Love Story in 2002 and now residents at Amnesia for MTV with their UK Warehouse party Shake It.

DJsounds caught them on the rocks by Savannah on the sunset strip in San Antonio and at Amensia where they played the main room and live on Amnesia Radio. They tell us where the Shake It concept came from, their forthcoming releases and how they integrate the CDJ-2000s into their set-up.

They play each Friday night in the mian room while MTV host the terrace with guests like 50 Cent, Plastikman Live, Snoop Dogg, Primal Scream, Kelis and Mark Ronson.

Ryan Raddon, better known to the world as Kaskade, hales from Chicago and is currently ranked at number 51 in the Top 100 DJs. As early in his career as his uni days in Utah, he owned and operated a local record store, Mechanized Records. He also worked for Om Records later on, starting in May 2000, and released his first single, 'What I Say' on said label.

Kaskade now only releases on Ultra Records, who he signed with in 2006, and has released a number of collaborations with Deadmau5, 'I Remember' being the first to reach the heady heights of the top 15 in the UK Singles Chart. The video for this was filmed in no other than Manchester, England!

He has lived in top destinations, New York, LA, Tokyo, and San Francisco, which earned him his nickname 'Big City' and he's fluent in Japanese!

In the clip we hear about Kaskade's trip to Ibiza and the string of parties he attended in just one night...it sounds as though he didn't get a tan while he was here, but loved every minute of the night life. Unbelievably, he hadn't been to Amnesia before until his gig there, so he was geared up and excited for that...and of course he raved about using a USB key and the other things he now fills his bag up with when he goes to a gig...

DJsounds hung out at the Amnesia Opening Party which also celebrated their 20th year.

We were joined by resident DJs, Les Schmitz, Caal Smile and Mar T, who were all equally excited about what the season has in store for them and the club.

Les has been playing there for eight years and talks about the changes in the style of music and also about the balearic crowds at La Troya nights. He also chats about the sound in the main room and why he likes the screen on the CDJ-2000s. Caal started playing in 2006 for La Troya and has been a resident since 2007 - he thinks this is going to be the best season so far!

Finally we meet the Artistic Manager and resident of 12 years, Mar T. He chats about what's changed at the club since then and the People From Ibiza party which has been going since 2004.
