DJsounds' Dutch division sits down to talk with the Swedish DJ/producer Ida Engberg, who was playing during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) for the very first time. The party, held at Sugar Factory, was Electronation presents: Plantage 13 Night with Pickadoll Records Vs Confused Recordings & Ideal. And, besides Ida, the line-up also included John Dahlbäck, Oliver Huntemann, Style of Eye and Electronation regular Terry Toner. Ida hails from Stockholm and last year released her debut production, ‘Disco Volante’, on the Pickadoll label of fellow Swede John Dahlbäck. In this interview she talks openly about her ADE experience (including her visit to the 100% Pure party at Flex Bar the night before her own gig!) as well as her journey into DJing, the various sounds coming out of Sweden, and her latest release (Ida Engberg & David West – ‘The Giant From Nibiru’) which is out now on Get Physical.
