Uber-hot German-based DJ/producer Kurd Maverick spoke to DJsounds’ Lorna Cole during the summer at Milk’n'2 Sugars, at El Divino, in Ibiza Town.
So click on to find out what the Ibiza-loving Maverick (aka Cihan Oetuen or Gian) had to say as we charted his rise. From Kurd’s remix of Pump Up The Jam (by the D.O.N.S. featuring Technotronic) to a rather large surge of killer productions that followed, including The Rub and Let’s Work/Strings of Tortuga.
Here DJsounds also gets a heads up on Kurd’s first artist album, which we should be hearing more of next summer. In the meantime Kurd finishes off the year with a bang, playing New Year’s Eve for Pukka Up at Pacha Ibiza.
