DJsounds hits the glam Milk’n’2 Sugars (Mn2s) party at club Panama during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) to interview the hugely influential Chicago artist Ron Carroll.
The longtime minister of sound Ron Carroll is not only a house DJ/producer and remixer, but also an inspired singer/songwriter who has worked alongside the likes of Bob Sinclar and Axwell (‘What a Wonderful World’), Hardsoul (‘My Life’) and Richard Grey (‘Come In To My Life’).
During ADE Ron headlined the Mn2s party at Panama, taking to the packed theatre together with Seamus Haji, Bodyrox and Michael Gray, while Joey Negro, Brian Tappert, Bart B More and many others covered the studio and basement rooms.
Interviewed backstage, here Ron speaks about ADE, changing DJ formats and his recent productions, including Lady D Vs Ron Carroll ‘Rock My World’ and his own ‘Walking Down the Street’ (both of which you can hear in this clip!).
