Techno master Gabry Fasano chats to DJsounds’ Italian team at club Cocoricò in Riccione. (Italian with English subtitles.)

In this interview Gabry talks about his latest contributions to Mauro Picotto’s Alchemy label, his style of play and recent DJ gigs around the world.

He also reveals a personal tip for all up-and-coming DJs, advising spinners to develop a quality sound through their own productions… Naturally Gabry’s guidance comes from experience.

Since entering the scene in the late 1980s, he’s released material under the Tra(n)sponder aliases as well as tracks under his own name such as ‘Catapulta’, ‘Square Circles’ and ‘Time Blender’.

As a DJ, Gabry not only performs regularly at club Cocoricò, as shown here (in Titilla, the house room), but also at Tenax in Florence and at Mauro Picotto’s international Meganite events, from Ibiza to Columbia. Words: LRC
