DJsounds gets five minutes with Andy Cato, one half of the club-shaking, chart-topping dance/downbeat duo Groove Armada alongside Tom Findlay.
Groove Armada have set dancefloors alight all summer long on the White Isle while their latest studio album, Soundboy Rock, continues to make waves worldwide. And although Andy’s flight problems during the BBC Radio 1 Weekend caused much concern on the isle, like a trooper he completed his sunset mix from an airport, thanks to the wonders of 21st century technology. Joining Andy on that crazy weekend down at Café Mambo, DJsounds’ Lorna Cole delved deeper to find out more about their album, touring and the GA DJ rider.
Looking ahead, this November will see the guys embark on a special series of gigs to mark 10 years in the business. They will also release a celebratory double CD called GA10: From the Vaults.
