Ibiza Sonica 95.2 FM is a cool 24-hour electronic music radio station that is based in and broadcasts from Ibiza. However you can also tune in online at ibizasonica.com, where you can peruse their programming and even watch videos. First up in this special behind the scenes footage, DJsounds drops into Sonica’s studios in San Rafael for some interviews and to check out sets from Tocadisco and Laurent Garnier. Here Sonica’s director Igor Marijuan introduces the station and studio and tells us about the other locations from where they choose to broadcast. Ibiza Sonica founder and broadcaster Andy Wilson then features and explains the history and evolution of the radio project, while Laurent Garnier talks about the station and his experiments with pirate radio on the island. Finally DJsounds tracks Sonica to a live outdoor broadcast with Ibiza phenomenon Jon Sa Trinxa at Ushuaia sea lounge in Playa den Bossa.
