Once dubbed the ‘King of Space’, Steve Lawler has been an Ibiza regular
since 1990. So here we caught up with him behind the scenes at We Love
Sundays at Space, just before he destroyed the terrace one more time. In
this clip Steve talks about his close relationship with Ibiza, We Love and
Space, as well as running his own digital music label, Viva, and a
developing a DJ-friendly CD storage system.

As a DJ who can conjure up atmosphere by the bucketload, this autumn will
see Steve begin a new album series with Renaissance that promises to focus
on his major DJ residencies around the world. ’VIVA London’, recorded at
his Viva Harlem Nights residency at London’s The End, will be the first.
Steve celebrates the ’VIVA London’ launch this week in New York, but of
course you can also catch him back in Ibiza for the grand Space Closing
Party on 7th October.
