New blood personified, according to their biography, energetic Bronx-born teenagers Steve and Chris Martinez are already making serious waves. As kids they would play instruments in church; these days, as a formidable DJ duo, they’re rocking Pacha!

In this clip, the brothers talk to DJsounds about how they got into house music, how they’ve been influenced by life in New York and the tools they use ‘n’ abuse as DJs.

Live footage also comes from an Objektivity party at Pacha. House maestro Dennis Ferrer’s Objektivity label released The Martinez Brothers’ acclaimed ‘My Rendition’ last year and naturally the guys continue to play at Objektivity events.
