Yes, 31-year-old DJ/producer Carlton (aka Boltongroove) from Lausanne, Switzerland is the second contender in DJsounds’ video competition!

Carlton therefore joins Heat 1’s Lewis Ryder from London (UK), Heat 3’s Matt Cooper from Leeds (UK) and Heat 4’s winner, who is yet TBC.

The mixes of all four winners are recorded on the dates they play Space and judged by a panel at the end of August/beginning of September. In advance of that decision, however, you can now check out how it went for Carlton in a single click…

A one-time semi-pro snowboarder Carlton has been DJing for 10 years and has enjoyed a five-year-long residency at the celebrated D! Club in Lausanne.

He learnt to play the piano when he was just four years old, but says he only started producing electronic music a few months ago.

To date Carlton’s productions include ‘Electric Blood’, which featured in his DJsounds’ video mix and is promised to Senssual Records in Madrid.

Carlton now plans to continue DJing in Switzerland and beyond, as well as starting his own label called Boltongroove Records.
