An eclectic music lover whose rise as Deadmau5 over the last couple years has been stratospheric, Joel also heads up the label Mau5trap Recordings.

2008 alone has seen Joel win a Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year (for Billy Newton-Davis vs. Deadmau5 ‘All U Ever Want’) and several gongs from Beatport (including Best Single, for ‘Not Exactly’, Best Electro House Artist, Best Progressive House Artist and Most Influential Person).
