DJsounds took a trip out to the Happy House Heroes (HHH) party at Noxx to speak with its main player and instigator CDJ Louke from Antwerp. The clip also features a cameo appearance from HHH guest DJ Switzerland’s award-winning Mr. Mike, as well as club footage from the gig at Noxx. CDJ Louke is a 50-something-year-old selector and one-time diamond broker. He partied hard at the legendary Studio 54 in the 1970s and is now seemingly on a mission to keep the vibe alive through HHH! Quite a character and 200% devoted to dance music, Louke even visits Ibiza each year for the closing parties, saying on his MySpace page: ‘Muslims go to Mecca, Jews go to Jerusalem, Catholics to Rome, and I go to Ibiza on a pilgrimage.’ Words: LRC
