DJsounds’ Lorna Cole dives into the long-awaited Space Opening Party and has a chat with one of their most revered residents – Jonathan Ulysses. Right by the DJ booth on the sunset terrace, among a sea of heads and hands, the two hit the mic to discuss parties, productions and promoting positive beats.

Having played at the world famous club for the best part of a decade (he’ll celebrate his 10th anniversary in 2008), Jonathan has described his residency as ‘living the dream’. And it’s easy to see why in this clip, as the ultra-dedicated, super-animated DJ captivated clubbers at the opening of Space in 2007.

Helping to bookend Ibiza’s summer season, Space’s influential Opening and Closing Fiestas are always of epic proportions. But not content with spreading the vibe in the club as well as on Space world tours, Jonathan has even hooked up with Richard Grey to produce a tribute to the club called Sundays at Space!
