With its chic metallic finish, the CDJ-800MK2 looks the business. Now keep it sounding the business and performing at its best with this firmware upgrade. Basically (as it says in the upgrade support link) this update improves the Master Tempo performance, loop performance and the CDJ’s ability to read discs. Beneath the jog wheel, CD decks are complex tools and occasionally their firmware needs updating, which is a pretty painless process with Pioneer’s CDJ series. This short clip shows just how it’s done. The buttons you need to press vary and this clip is for Pioneer’s CDJ-800MK2 only. And, remember, you only need to use the upgrade if your CDJ-800MK2 has a system version lower than 2.10! The firmware upgrade clip was produced by Lead from DJResource (see link). Thanks so much, we had the instructions from the Pioneer website but they were not written out very clearly. So your video definitely did the trick.
