The DJ coach with more drive than a Ferrari, DJ Tutor (aka Ellaskins) unleashed another one of his online video tutorials last week.

This time demonstrating some of the different ways in which you can use the direction/reverse feature on the DVJ decks. The instant reverse toggle switch flips the direction in which the music is playing.

So using the switch together with the deck’s hot cues and looping facilities basically allows you to improvise more with the music, according to your style.

Here DJ Tutor’s using DVJ-1000 DVD decks, but you could also use CDJ-1000s.
