Anthony Pappa shows off some high-impact CDJ moves, his drumming skills and photographic evidence of his commitment to beats in this new tips & tricks clip, filmed at his home in England.
Here you can watch how Anthony uses the CDJ cue button as a drum pad to add extra effects to tracks, and how he utilises hot cues to create loops and add drum patterns to a mix. He also gives a quick demo of the classic spin-back trick, with a Pappa twist…
Having just returned from his studio collaboration with fellow Australians Phil K and Danny Bonnici, Anthony also discuses forthcoming material, including his new mix, Moments 2, which should be released later this year.

That’s the thing that I love to do. Drumming with the cue buttons rockz, this really gives an extra dimension to your mixes.
I’m also drumming in a reggaeband (Roots Creation), so it’s in my blood too…
Try and using this technique with fx on, gives it a little extras…
