As part of our ongoing South American coverage, we catch-up with the hot native talent, DJ Gog, at Covadonga Salon in Mexico, before he plays alongside DJ Steve Bug.

Gog has been DJ-ing since 1998 and was a resident in AM and Rioma. He's won awards such as 'Best House DJ' in 2005 for DJ's World, and '2008 Revelation DJ' at the DCA's run by DJ Concept magazine.

In this clip, DJ Gog waxes lyrical about his career, including his influences, expectations of his performance with DJ Bug, and what he loves about CDJs.

For the future, Gog is starting a record label to support Mexican talent, and his concept party, 'Audio Soul' which he created with DJ Shine, is starting again after being off the scene for a while.
