Here’s part three in the four-part DJsounds series on Pacha Ibiza DJ resident Sarah Main and her hot tips for making the most of the new CDJ-400.

Well, the sun has set and we’re back with Sarah on her roof terrace… This time looking at the 400’s cool sounding Roll effect, a popular pick from the deck’s three digital jog break effects (Jet, Wah and Roll), which can be used in CDJ mode. Check it out.

As you can see, these jog effects can be manipulated hands-on via the platter (illuminated red), which, besides being super-scratchable, also serves as an effects control.
