The CDJ 2000 features a Wolfson DAC, found in Pioneer's top end hi-fi equipment. The Wolfson has an incredibly high signal to noise ratio (SNR) of up 117dB, this is 11dB higher than the CDJ 1000MK3 DAC. This creates a more analogue feel than previous audio DACs that use conventional digital filtering and conversion techniques, such as Legato Conversion Link.
