With cameo appearances from five different Ibiza DJs, the residents talk about what it takes to play it, make it, and break it on the White Isle.

In this feature we hear all about it – straight from the source – from local DJs Caal Smile, Angel Linde, Issie Dixon, Nano Vergel and Valentin Huerdo.

First up, we tune into Buenos-Aires-born, Barcelona-based Amnesia resident – the young Caal Smile. Then we hear from Barcelona-born Pacha resident Angel Linde, whose sets on the island and beyond are world famous.

Next comes Ibiza-born Issie Nixon, creator and host of Kinky Doll parties and resident at the glam Es Vivé hotel in Figueretas.

Ibiza native Nano Vergel follows. He’s played all over the island and is currently resident DJ at bar Grial, and on Ibiza Global Radio.

Lastly, we speak with Valentin Huerdo, winner of a DJ Awards title in 2008 and resident at Café del Mar and Blue Marlin. Words: LRC
